For a second week in a row, NASCAR races in the desert in the west coast swing.  The Xfinity Series kicks off a double header weekend at Phoenix Raceway with the Call 811Before You Dig 200

After winning the race on the road course at Dautona International Speedway in his debut Xfinity Series race, Ty Gibbs returns in an attempt to make it two in a row; but Las Vegas race winner AJ Allmendinger is also looking to make it two in a row as well.

Joining Adam Alexander in the FOX Sports broadcast booth for today’s race is Joey Logano and making his booth debut Daniel Suarez.

Stages one and two of the race are 45 laps each with stage three lasting 110 laps for a total of 200 laps around the one mile track.

NASCAR has called for a  competition caution on lap 20

Daniel Hemric brings the field down for the green flag start of the race with Austin Cindric getting out in front to lead lap one.

Lap two, the top five are Austin Cindric, Daniel Hemric, Brandon, Justin Haley, and Harrison Burton.

Lap three, Ty Gibbs has moved up four spots since the start of the race.

Lap five, Austin Cindric has pulled out to a lead of one second on Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Lap seven, Ty Gibbs has entered the top 20.  Austin Cindric has increased his lead to nearly a second and a half on Daniel Hemric.

Lap eight, Austin Cindric’s lead is now over a second and a half on Daniel Hemric; Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, and Justin Haley round out the top five.  All 40 drivers are on the lead lap.

Lap 12, Austin Cindric’s lead is now nearly two seconds on Daniel Hemric; ; Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

The last time Austin Cindric was at Phoenix Raceway, he won the race in overtime and the Xfinity Series championship.

Lap 17, Austin Cinrdric continues to lead the race with Daniel Hemric a second and a half back; ; Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Matt Mills takes his number five car to the garage with a blown engine.

Lap 20, Ty Gibbs has moved up to 16th place.

At the end of lap 20, NASCAR puts out the yellow flag for the competition caution.

Jesse Little and JB McLeod are also having issues with their cars.

There are 33 cars on the lead lap.

The teams were given just four sets of tires for today’s race – one set to start the race on with three more in the pits.

Fifth place driver Justin Haley reports that his car has been very uncomfortable.

A few drivers took advantage of the caution and came down pit road for service.

Drivers are asking for tape on the windshield to help with glare from the sun.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 27 from the outside lane and jujps out in front of Daniel Hemric for the lead, but Hemric quickly makes it a side by side battle for the lead before Cindric gets out in front to hold on to his lead of the race.

Lap 29, the top five are Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, Daniel Hemric, and Justin Haley.

Lap 30, Ty Gibbs moves up to 14th place in his fist Xfinity Series race at Phoenix.  Gibbs won the ARCA race at Phoenix on Friday night.

Ten laps remain in stage one; Austin Cindric leads the race by half a second on Brandon Jones; Harrison Burton, Daniel Hemric, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.

Five laps remain in stage one, Austin Cindric has led every lap so far; Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, Daniel Hemric, and Noah Gragson round out the top five.  Ty Gibbs is just outside the top 10 in eleventh.

Three laps to go in stage one, Ty Gibbs enters the top 10.

With a lead of over half a second, Austin Cindric wins stage one.  Cindric has either won a stage or the race in every race this season.

Jesse Little has no brakes and hits the wall, causing damage to the rear of his car and is out of the race.

Blaine Perkins is the “lucky dog” and is back on the lead lap in 32nd place.

Drivers come down pit road for service on lap 51 with Daniel Hemric winning the race off of pit road.  Austin Cindric dropped five spots on the track after his pit stop.

Brandon Jones was caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Daniel Hemric brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 57 from the outside lane.  Hemric goes nose to nose with Harrison Burton for the lead, swapping the lead back and forth before the caution flag comes out after Dexter Bean spins out.  Daniel Hemric is listed as the leader.  Jeffrey Earnhardt is the “lucky dog”.

Daniel Hemric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 62 as drivers get three and four wide across the track.  Daniel Hemric gets out in front for the lead.

Lap 64, the top five are Daniel Hemric, Harrison Burton, Justin Allgaier, Jeb Burton, and Noah Gragson. 

Noah Gragson’s car was smoking on the restart.

With 24 laps remaining in stage two, Noah Gragson’s car continues to smoke and has flames coming out from under it; bringing out the caution flag as he works to get the car to the garage.

Noah Gragson is out of the race.

Daniel Hemric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 76 and jumps out in front of Harrison Burton for the lead.  The drivers quickly get spread out across the track.

Lap 79, the top five are Daniel Hemric, Harrison Burton, Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, and Justin Haley.

Ten laps remain in stage two, Daniel Hemric continues to lead the race with Harrison Burton on his bumper; Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Three laps remain in stage two, Harrison Burton challenges Daniel Hemric for the lead but Hemric holds on to the top spot.

Justin Allgaier brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two on lap 98 and gets out in front for the lead with Austin Cindric right behind him.

Lap 99, the top five are Justin Allgaier, Austin Cindric, Daniel Hemric, AJ Allmendinger, and Josh Berry.

Michael Annett has taken his number one car behind the wall with engine issues.

Lap 101, Austin Cindric challenges Justin Allgaier for the lead but Allgaier holds on and pulls out to increase his lead to half a second.

Lap 103, Justin Allgaier leads the race by over half a second; Austin Cindric, Daniel Hemric, Josh Berry, and AJ Allmendinger round out the top five.

Myatt Snider and Brandon Brown make contact but save the cars and the track stays green.

Lap 107, Justin Allgaier has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Austin Cindric; Josh Berry, AJ Allmendinger, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.

Lap 115, Justin Allgaier and Austin Cindric battle it out for the lead with Allgaier holding on to the lead; Josh Berry, AJ Allmendinger, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Lap 121, Justin Allgaier has a half second lead on Austin Cindric with Josh Berry in third over two and a half seconds back; AJ Allmendinger and Justin Haley round out the top five.

The caution flag comes out on lap 124 when Tommy Joe Martins got loose.

The drivers are on the outside edge of their fuel window, but they have only one set of fresh tires in the pits.

Justin Allgaier leads the field down pit road for service with Ryan Sieg winning the race off of pit road after taking fuel only; Austin Cindric comes out second.  Justin Allgaier comes out in sixth place after his team made some adjustments to the car.

Ryan Sieg brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 129 but is quickly passed by Austin Cindric for the lead with Justin Allgaier in second.  Sieg has some damage to his car after making contact with Josh Berry and hitting the wall.

Jeb Burton and Daniel Hemric were caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Lap 131, the caution flag comes out after Harrison Burton spins out.  Out of sticker tires, Burton’s team will have to use a set of scuffed tires on the car.

Josh Berry had to make an unscheduled trip down pit road for a loose tire.  He was caught speeding on pit road and will have to restart the race from the back of the field.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag with Justin Allgaier alongside with 63 with the two going side by side before Cindric takes the lead.

Lap 138, the top five are Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, Justin Allgaier, Ty Gibbs, and Justin Haley.

Brett Moffit spins out but saves the car.  The caution flag comes out with 60 laps remaining in the race.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 144 with Brandon Jones alongside.  Cindric gets out in front but Brandon Jones comes from second to pass Cindric for the lead.

Lap 145, the top five are Brandon Jones, Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier, Ty Gibbs, and Daniel Hemric.

Josh Berry spins out with a flat tire and hits the wall which brings out the ninth caution flag of the day with 53 laps remaining in the race.  Josh Berry is out of the race.  Three of four of the JR Motorsports cars are out of the race; only Justin Allgaier remains in the race.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart with 46 laps remaining in the race.  Cindric and Jones go side by side before Cindric gets out in front for the lead with Justin Allgaier in second.

Lap 155, the top five are Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, and Ty Gibbs.

Forty to go, Austin Cindric has a narrow lead on Justin Allgaier; Daniel Hemric, Brandon Jones, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five with 31 cars on the lead lap.

Myatt Snider smacks the wall but the track stays green.

Lap 164, Ty Gibbs passes Justin Haley for fourth.

Lap 166, the caution flag comes out after Brandon Jones makes contact with AJ Allmendinger and hits the wall.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart with 29 laps to go and gets out in front to hold on to the lead with Justin Allgaier in second.

Lap 172, the top five are Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier, Justin Haley, Daniel Hemric, and Ty Gibbs.

The sun has dipped below the grandstands and the track is now in the shadows; the sun is no longer an issue for the drivers.

Twenty-five to go, Austin Cindric has a lead of nearly half a second on Justin Allgaier; Justin Haley, Daniel Hemric, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

Jade Buford gets into the wall but saved the car and the track stays green.

Lap 182, Austin Cindric has a lead of over half a second on Justin Allgaier; Daniel Hemric, Justin Haley, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

Fifteen to go, Austin Cindric holds on to the lead with Justin Allgaier over a half second behind; Daniel Hemric, Justin Haley, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

Ten laps remain in the race, Austin Cindric has increased his lead on Justin Allgaier to a second; Daniel Hemric, Justin Haley, and Ty Gibbs round out the top five.

The eleventh caution flag of the race comes out with just nine laps remaining in the race when Alex Labbe spins out and hits the wall after some possible contact.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart in a two lap shootout for the end of the race.  Drivers get four wide across the track on the restart that puts Justin Haley and Daniel Hemric in the wall.  Justin Allgaier also got into the wall.

Austin Cindric takes the white flag with Ty Gibbs in second.

For the first multiple winner of the season, Austin Cindric wins the race for his second win this season.
