For her album “Old Soul”, Kelly Lang looks back in time for the material for the album.  Opening the time capsule of the 70’s and 80’s, Lang taps into some of the most iconic songs including a little gender flipping of the classic “Me and Mrs. Jones” to “Me and Mr. Jones” and a duet with husband T.G. Sheppard.

Speaking on the album, Lang said, “when I was recording my new album ‘Old Soul,’ I chose songs that brought me back to a simpler time. These songs are woven into the tapestry of our musical lives. My hope is that the listener will also be able to reminisce and be transported back to great memories while enjoying these classics with a new twist.

Available on all digital download and streaming services, “Old Soul” features 14 songs.

Originally hailing from Oklahoma City, Lang has called the Nashville area home since she was a child.  The daughter of Conway Twitty’s tour manager, Lang was destined to become a part of the world of music.  She has had her songs recorded by a number of artists including Ricky Skaggs, Lorrie Morgan, The Oak Ridge Boys, Crystal Gayle, George Jones, B.J. Thomas, Jimmy Fortune, Jerry Lee Lewis, T.G. Sheppard, and Johnny Lee.  During her musical career she has performed or recorded with stars Sir Barry Gibb, Dame Olivia Newton-John, Paul Shaffer, and Lee Greenwood.
