Clapton Releases ‘Layla’ Album Boxed Set

Since it was first released by Eric Clapton under the name Derek and the Dominos; “Layla” has become an iconic classic.

After 50 years, Clapton and Ume/Polydor are releasing the song as a part of an anniversary boxed set of “Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs”.

The set will feature four vinyl records; the original double album remastered in “half speed” and two records of bonus material including session recordings, out takes, and live performances.  The collection will also include a book of sleeve notes.

The collection will include some songs on vinyl for the first time.
