During the races last weekending at Kansas Speedway, there were a number of instances where a driver had to make an additional trip down pit road to have his lug nuts tightened.

On Tuesday, NASCAR issued four penalties…all for lug nut violations.

In the NASCAR Cup Series…
The number four Stewart-Haas Racing car driven by Kevin Harvick with Rodney Childers as crew chief
The number 18 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Kyle Busch with Adam Stevens as crew chief
and the number 19 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Martin Truex Jr with James Small as crew chief
…all three crew chiefs were fined $10,000 for having a single lug nut improperly secured.

And in the Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series Drew Blickensderfer was fined $2,500 for the number 17 DGR-Crosley truck driven by Hailie Deegan for having a single lug nut improperly secured.  Deegan made her Truck Series debut at the Clean Harbor 200 on Saturday afternoon.
