The Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series has two regular full time female drivers – Jennifer Jo Cobb and Natalie Decker – but only one female owner.  Jennifer Jo Cobb, who has been a part of the Truck Series for 10 years, is the only female owner is any of the three NASCAR racing series.

But Cobb’s interests go far beyond the Truck Series…

This weekend she will not only race on the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, but on Friday night she will be attempting to set a new land speed record at the East Coast Timing Association Horsepower Harvest Events in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Driving a Ford Fusion, Cobb is looking to become the fastest female of any event driving a NASCAR stock car.  She must top speeds well over 200mph to secure the title.

A cutoff race for the first round of the playoffs, NASCAR is allowing a limited number of fans into the stands for the Chevrolet Silverado 250 on October 3.
