Iron Maiden
When the compact disc came out some 30 years ago, the “experts” proclaimed that the vinyl long playing album was dead.  And while LP’s waned for a while, they have made a roaring comeback; especially when it comes to collectors.

More and more artists are releasing special albums on vinyl, and often with creative designs.

The hard rocking band Iron Maiden is celebrating 40 years of rock and roll with a special anniversary release of their self titled debut album on October 9.  The limited edition album will feature a clear vinyl picture disc.

Originally released in the spring of 1980, the album includes songs that went on to become an integral part of every Iron Maiden performance.

The album is currently available for pre order from the band’s website at IronMaiden.com.
