The Xfinity series returns for the second race in less than 24 hours at Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Contender Boats 250.  This also marks the second of four races in the Dash-4-Cash Series where four drivers will compete for $100,000.  Noah Gragson won the first prize in Atlanta and shared it with his racing team.

Driving the same cars as they did in Saturday’s 250 mile race, the drivers return with a slightly different lineup.  Daniel Hemric takes over the driving duties of the number eight car that was driven to a fifth place finish on Saturday by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

For this race the starting line up was based on the finishing order of Saturday’s Hooter’s 250 with the top 15 finishers inverted putting Myatt Snider on the pole with Brandon Brown starting alongside on the front row.

Stages one and two of the race are 40 laps each with stage three lasting 87 laps for a total of 167 laps around the mile and a half track.

Noah Gragson will have to start the race from the back of the field.

Daniel Hemric and AJ Allmendinger will have to start from the back of the field due to a driver change from Saturday’s race.

Justin Allgaier has to start the race from the back of the field in a backup car.

Atlanta winner AJ Allmendinger, Justin Haley, Daniel Hemric, and Noah Gragson will be competing for the $100,00 prize in the Dash-4-Cash.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution at lap 20.

Myatt Snider brings the field down for the green flag start of the race from the inside lane and hets out in front for the lead with Justin Haley ins second.

The drivers are already getting three wide across the track.

Lap two, Myatt Snider is in the lead but “The Melon Man” Ross Chastain challenges for the lead and takes it from Snider.

Lap three, the top five are Ross Chastain, Chase Briscoe, Myatt Snider, Justin Haley,, and Brandon Jones.

Lap four, Myatt Snider retakes the lead with Brandon Brown in second

Lap five Ross Chastain is in the lead with Chase Briscoe in second; Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, and Myatt Snider round out the top five.

Lap nine, Chase Briscoe takes the lead with Ross Chastain in second; Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, and Myatt Sniter round out the top five.

Lap 12, Austin Cindric has the lead with Chase Briscoe in second; Ross Chastain, Brandon Jones, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

Lap 17, Austin Cindric has a lead of over a second on Chase Briscoe; Brandon Jones, Ross Chastain, and Justin Haley round out the top five.

After starting from the rear AJ Allmendinger, Justin Allgaier, and Noah Gragson have moved up over 20 spots since the race started with Gragson and Allgaier in the top 10, Allmendinger is 17th.

Lap 20, Austin Cindric has a lead of over a second and a half on Chase Briscoe.

At the end of lap 20, NASCAR throws the yellow flag for the competition caution.  The teams only have four sets of tires in the pits.

Some of the teams came down pit road for service.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 25 and holds on to the lead.

Lap 26, the top five are Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, Justin Haley, and Justin Allgaier.

With 34 cars on the lead lap, FA Junior Avila and Stephen Leicht are off the track.

Lap 29, Austin Cindric has a half second lead on Brandon Jones; Harrison Burton, Noah Gragson, and Ryan Sieg round out the top five.

Lap 31,, Austin Cindric has increased his lead a over a second on Brandon Jones; Ryan Sieg, Noah Gragson, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Now in second place, Ryan Sieg has cut the gap on leader Austin Cindric to just over half a second.

Lap 33, Caesar Bacarella and Tommy Joe Martins bring out the caution flag when they make contact and wreck with Bacarella making a run through the grass.

Austin Cindric brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 37 for a four lap shootout to end the stage.  The drivers are getting four wide across the track.

Ryan Sieg gets around Austin Cindric to take the lead; Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Kyle Weatherman round out the top five.

Lap 39, Ryan Sieg has pulled out the a lead of over a second and a half on Austin Cindric; Brandon Jones, Michael Annett, and Justin Allgaier round out the top five.

With a lead of nearly two seconds Ryan Sieg wins stage one.

Ryan Sieg had an extended stop on pit road after Justin Allgaier knocked a tire out of the carrier’s arm.

Lap 51, Austin Cindric passes Brandon Jones for the lead; Noah Gragson, Harrison Burton, and Daniel Hemric round out the top five.  There are 34 cars on the lead lap with two cars out of the race.

Lap 53, Austin Cindric has pulled out to a one second lead on Brandon Jones with Noah Gragson, Daniel Hemric, and Harrison Burton rounding out the top five.

After hitting the wall, Justin Allgaier has a flat tire and has to bring his car down pit road.  The track stays green.

Anthony Alfredo is also on pit road with a flat tire.

Twenty to go, Chase Briscoe has cut into leader Noah Gragson’s lead who is now two and a half seconds in front of Briscoe; Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.  There are 13 cars on the lead lap.

Seventeen to go, Noah Gragson’s lap times are slower, but he still has a lead of over two and a half seconds on Chase Briscoe with 12 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 150, Noah Gragson continues to lap slower traffic; there are only 10 cars on the lead lap.

There are only 13 laps remaining in the race with Noah Gragson out in front by three seconds on Chase Briscoe; Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones, and Harrison Burton round out the top five.

Chase Briscoe brings the field down for the green/white/checker overtime restart with Noah Gragson starting alongside on the front row.  Drivers get spread out three and four wide across the track with Chase Briscoe getting out in front but the caution flag comes out for a crash involving Michael Annett and Daniel Hemric.  Riley Herbst was also involved.  Daniel Hemric hit the inside wall head first sending his car in the air.

Xfinity Series rookie Harrison Burton has finished every race this season in the top 10 including two wins.

After taking the wave around on the last caution flag, Justin Haley made a pit stop and has the freshest tires on the track.

The drivers will lineup once again for the second overtime restart with Brandon Jones starting along side on the front row.  Noah Gragson is in third place behind Briscoe.  Drivers get four wide across the track with Chase Briscoe and Brandon Jones battling for the lead.
