The Gander Outdoors and RV Truck Series makes a day/night double header at Homestead-Miami Speedway with the Baptist Health 200.

The rain has held off…so far…and the truck are ready to roll after a wild and furious race from the Xfinity Series.

After a random draw to set the field, Austin Hill will sit on the pole and bring the field of 38 trucks to the green flag.

Stages one and two of the race are only 30 laps each with stage three lasing 74 laps for a total of 134 laps around the mile and a half track.

NASCAR has called for a competition caution on lap 15.

After drawing the outside pole, Kyle Busch will have to move to the back of the field after a tech issue during pre race inspection…and will have to serve a pass through penalty once the race begins.

Tanner Gray is moved to the back of the field after his team made unapproved adjustments to the truck.

Tate Fogelman missed the driver’s meeting and will  have to start the race from the back of the field.

Brett Moffitt, Chase Briscoe, and Ross Chastain all ran the Xfinity Series race only a short time ago.

Austin Hill brings the field down for the green flag start of the race and gets out in front for the lead with last week’s winner Grant Enfinger in second; Christian Eckes, Zane Smith, and Sheldon Creed round out the top five.

After serving his drive through penalty, Kyle Busch remains on the lead lap.

Bryant Barnhill is off the track.

Lap six, Austin Hill has a narry lead on Grant Enfinger; Sheldon Creed, Ross Chastain, and Christian Eckes round out the top five.

Lap nine, Sheldon Creed scrapes the wall but the track stays green.

Lap 10, Kyle Busch remains in last place but is still on the lead lap.

After beating Kyle Busch to win the bounty, Chse Elliott has returned for another race.

Lap 12, Austin Hill has a half second lead on Grant Enfinger; Ross Chastain, Sheldon Creed, and Ben Rhodes round out the top five.

After stating earlier in the week that he was withdrawing his truck from the race after NASCAR issued an order to ban the Confederate flag from all races, Ray Ciccarelli is at the track and in the race.  He is currently in 35th place.

The competition caution comes out at the end of lap 15 with Austin Hill leading the race.

Kyle Busch is on pit road getting some repairs to his truck with rear end damage after hitting the wall.

Some of the drivers came down pit road for service, but the leaders stayed out on the track and on lap 20, Austin Hill brings the field down for the green flag restart and holds on to his lead with Grant Enfinger in second.

The caution flag comes out on lap 19 for a crash.  Zane Smith, Brett Moffitt, and Chase Elliott were all involved.  Zane Smith and Brett Moffitt’s trucks have serious damage and are out of the race.

Lap 22, the top five are Austin Hill, Ross Chastain, Grant Enfinger, Ben Rhodes, and Matt Crafton.

Chase Elliott will have to restart the race from the back of the field after pitting too soon.

Austin Hill brings the field down for the green flag restart on lap 29 for a two lap shootout to the end of stage one.

Austin Hill edges out Ross Chastain for the lead as the trucks get three wide.

Ross Chastain and Austin Hill battle for the lead, swapping it back and forth until Ross Chastain puts his watermelon truck out in front for the lead.

After staying out onf the track, Christian Eckes brings the field down for the green flag start of stage two and gets out in front for the lead.  Kyle Busch is in second.

Lap 38, Christian Eckes is in the lead with Kyle Busch on his bumper; Austin Hill, Ross Chastain, and Ty Majeski round out the top five.

Lap 39, Kyle Busch goes from worst to first when he passes Christian Eckes for the lead after starting the race from the back of the field.

Lap 40, Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of over half a second on Austin Hill.

Ross Chastain gets around Austin Hill for the lead.

There is some debris on the track after TJ Bell hits the wall but so far the track stays green.

Lap 43, Kyle Busch has increased his lead to over a second on Ross Chastain; Austin Hill, Christian Eckes, and Derek Kraus round out the top five.

Lap 44, Kyle Busch is motoring and and has pulled out to a lead of nearly two seconds on Ross Chastain.  There are 31 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 47, Kyle Busch’s lead is now over two seconds on Ross Chastain; Austin Hill, Christian Eckes, and Derek Kraus round out the top five.

Lap 50, Kyle Busch’s lead is down to under a second on Ross Chastain; Austin Hill, Christian, Eckes, and Todd Gilliland round out the top five.

Lap 53, leader Kyle Busch has pulled back out to a lead of over a second on Ross Chastain; Austin Hill, Christian Eckes, and Derek Kraus round out the top five.

Lap 55, Kyle Busch is driving away with it, he now has a lead of over three seconds on Ross Chastain; Austin Hill, Christian Eckes, and Todd Gilliland round out the top five.

Matt Crafton gets into the wall and has to bring his truck down pit road with a flat tire just three laps from the end of stage two.

Kyle Busch now hasa lead of nearly five seconds on Ross Chastain.

Kyle Busch wins the race off of pit road with Ross Chastain out second.

Kyle Busch brings the field down for the green flag start of stage three from the outside lane and holds on to his lead as the drivers are getting three wide across the track.  Christian Eckes got loose and lost several spots on the restart.

Lap 68, Kyle Busch has a half second lead on Austin Hill, Ben Rhodes, Ross Chastain, and Todd Gilliland round out the top five.  There are 24 trucks on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out on lap 70 for Brennan Poole and a possible flat tire after spinning out.

Chase Elliott gets into the wall but the track stays green.

Lap 80, Kyle Busch has a lead of nearly a second on Austin Hill with 25 trucks on the lead lap.

Lap 81, Kyle Busch has pulled out to a lead of over a second on Austin Hill, Ross Chastain, Raphael Lessard, and Stewart Friesen round out the top five with three drivers out of the race.

Ray Ciccarelli is in 29th place one lap down.

Lap 84, Kyle Busch has a lead of a second and a half on Austin Hill; Ross Chastain is in third nearly four seconds back.

Derek Kraus and Tanner Gray make contact but the track stays green.

With 49 laps remaining in the race, Kyle Busch has increased his lead to two seconds on Austin Hill.

With 47 laps to go, Kyle Busch has a lead of nearly two and a half seconds on Austin Hill; Ross Chastain, Ben Rhodes, and Grant Enfinger round out the top five.

The drivers cannot complete the 74 lap stage on a single load of fuel and will have to make a stop at some point.

With 41 laps to go, Ben Rhodes makes his green flag pit stop.

Lap 94, Austin Hill comes down pit road for service as the cycle of green flag pit stops continue.

Lap 95, leader Kyle Busch is on pit road; giving the lead over to Christian Eckes.

Raphael Lessard was caught speeding on pit road.

With 34 laps remaining in the race, Christian Eckes still hasn’t made his pit stop and has a lead of nearly seven seconds on Matt Crafton; Kyle Busch is in third and will retake the lead once the green flag pit stops have cycled through.

There are only eight trucks on the lead lap.

The caution flag comes out on lap 103 when Sheldon Creed ran into the barrels trying to get on pit road.

Christian Eckes wins the race off of pit road with Kyle Busch coming out second.  Matt Crafton has an extended stop on pit road for repairs.

NASCAR stops the trucks on pit road in order to get the mess cleaned up from the barrels filled with sand.  The barrels protect the drivers from the concrete wall that separates pit road from the racing surface.  The crews must replace the 400 pound barrels which is talking a lot of time and extra equipment.

After a delay of about 15 minutes, the drivers are moving again under the yellow flag.

After staying out on the track, Chase Elliott is in the lead with Christian Eckes in second.  Kyle Busch will restart the race in third.

With just 24 laps remaining in the race, Chase Elliott brings the field down for the green flag restart with Christian Eckes initially getting out in front for the lead.  Kyle Busch and Christian Eckes battle for the lead with Kyle Busch edging out in front.

When the caution flag came out there were only eight trucks on the lead lap; after several drivers took the wave around, there are 22 drivers on the lead lap.

With 18 laps to go, Kyle Busch has increased his lead to nearly two and a half seconds on Ben Rhodes.

There are four drivers out of the race and three trucks off the track.

Fifteen to go, Kyle Busch’s lead is now three had a half seconds on Austin Hill.

Ben Rhodes gets slideways on the track but recovers and the track stays green.

Thirteen to go, Kyle Busch holds on to a three and a half second lead on Austin Hill; Ross Chastain, Ben Rhodes, and Christian Eckes round out the top five.

Jordan Anderson brings out the caution flag with just 12 laps remaining in the race when he gets slowed on the track and unable to make it to pit road.

Four to go, Kyle Busch is in the lead; Tyler Ankrum, Ross Chastain, Johnny Sauter, and Austin Hill round out the top five.

Three to go, and Kyle Busch has a second and a half lead on Tyler Ankrum; Ross Chastain, Johnny Sauter, and Todd Gilliland round out the top five.

With a lead of over two seconds, Kyle Busch takes the white flag.

After losing two races in a row, Rowdy Busch wins the race in dominating fashion with a worst to first win to notch win number 58 wins to extend his lead as the winningest driver in the Truck Series.
