It has been 50 years since the trio of America burst on to the music scene with the nonsensical song “Horse with No Name”.
Celebrating the event, America is releasing an anniversary package called “Half Century”. The eight disc package features lots of previously unreleased music. Among those unreleased songs are demos that the band made prior to their debut release. There are demos, outtakes, and rehearsal footage from the Caribou Sessions and The Poison Oak Sessions.
