An on track incident between Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano on Oct 27 at Martinsville Speedway during the Fast Data 500 spilled over to pit road after the race when the two drivers exchanged more than words.

During the altercation members were both teams got involved in the incident that left Denny Hamlin on the ground.

As a result NASCAR competition officials have suspended tire technician for the Penske Racing number 22 car driven by Joey Logano.

As a result of the infractions crew chief Jeremy Bullens for the Penske Racing number 12 car driven by Ryan Blaney, crew chief Brian Pattie for the Roush-Fenway Racing number 17 car driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr, crew chief Adam Stevens for the Joe Gibbs Racing number 18 driven by Kyle Busch, and crew chief Chad Knaus for the Hendricks Motorsports number 24 driven by William Byron were all fined $10,000 each.
