It’s Queen night on “American Idol” and show begins with a performance of “We Will Rock You” by the top eight.

Again this week the show is simulcast in all time zones with live voting. Two more singers will go home this week.

Surviving Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor send a message of good luck to the contestants.

Season eight runner up and current Queen singer, Adam Lambert is the guest mentor this week.

Up first is Walker Burroughs with “A Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.

Madison Vandenburg chose “The Show Must Go On” for her performance.

This week the singers will also be performing duets of movie songs. Up first are Laci and Laine with the Johnny Cash song “Jackson” from “Walk the Line”.

Jeremiah is feeling some extra pressure this week, his parents are coming to the show for the first time. He is performing “Who Wants to Live Forever?”. Katy said that Jeremiah embodied Freddie Mercury with his performance. The son of a preacher, Jeremiah has had a hard road to acceptance for his lifestyle; calling the performance powerful, Jeremiah’s father admitted bias but said Jeremiah was the best one there.

Alejandro chose “Under Pressure” for his song but chose to give it an acoustic arrangement.

Alyssa and Wade perform “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell.

Jeremiah and Madison perform “A Million Dreams” from
“The Greatest Showman”.

For his Queen performance, Laine chose “Fat Bottom Girls” and had Katy out of her chair dancing.

A seven year old guest performed “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Laci sang “Love of My Life” as she played the guitar.

Alejandro and Walker sang “Mrs Robinson” from “The Graduate”.

Wade chose “We are the Champions” for his Queen song.

In the final performance of the night, Alyssa chose “Somebody to Love” for her Queen song.

It’s down to Walker, Wade, and Alyssa; one will move on and two will go home.

Wade is the final person moving on to the top six; Walker and Alyssa have been eliminated unless the judges use their one and only save for the season.

Luke revealed that they will not be using the save this week.
