NASCAR is not only a family sport; it is also a very fan friendly sport. Eighteen of NASCAR’s Xfinity Series will be taking to the streets of Philadelphia on May 14 and 15 to meet with fans and to promote the upcoming races at Pocono Raceway and Dover International Speedway. This is the fourth year that NASCAR, Comcast, Pocono Raceway and Dover International Speedway are joining forces The festivities will begin at the Philadelphia Phillies vs Milwaukee Brewers baseball game with Justin Allgaier throwing out the first pitch. ON May 15 the activities will be in full swing with all 18 drivers participating in events throughout the city. The day gets started with a welcome from the Mayor of Philadelphia Jim Kenney; followed by a military appreciation ceremony. The day also features an autograph session, a parade, interactive driver displays, a Q and A session, and the drivers visiting iconic locations around the city including partaking in a Philly Cheesesteak. The highlight of the day will take place at noon when the drivers put on a burnout show around City Hall. The drivers scheduled to participate in the event are: Justin Allgaier
