“American Idol” have revealed their top 20 and have returned to Los Angeles. Now it is time for them to showcase their voices to not only impress the judges; but to also, impress the fans for their votes.
Up first is Madison Vandenberg with ‘Domino” by Jessie J.
Shawn Robinson sang the Nick Jonas song “Jealous” and had young audience members and judge Lionel Richie up dancing.
Laine Hardy performed a unique rendition of the Sam Cooke song “Bring it on Home to Me” and not only brought the judges to their feet but noted that Laine has discovered some moves.
Wedding singer Uche sang “Figures” and gave Katy goosebumps and laying out on the floor.
Eddie Island chose a The Lumineers song or his performance.
Evelyn Cormier chose the classic John Denver song “Leaving on a Jet Plane” for her performance.
Returning singer Alyssa Raghu made it to the top 20 after being eliminated in the top 24 last season. She sang a Paramore song for her performance.
Ryan Hamond performed “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
Raquel Trinidad sang “Love Fool” for her performance.
Logan Johnson has turned his life around with music and chose the song “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” or his performance.
Dimitrius Graham sang the Adele song “Hello”; a song host Ryan Seacrest said is the second best song with the word “Hello” in the title.
The youngest singer in the competition Riley Thompson chose the Dolly Parton classic ‘Jolene” for her performance.
Walker Burroughs took on the Bee Gees with ‘How Deep is Your Love” for his performance. He began the song A Capella and blew Luke away.
Taking on Mariah Carey, subway singer Bumbly performed “Vision of Love”
Ashely Hess performed the John Mayer Song ‘Dreaming with a Broken Heart” while playing the piano.
Alejandro Aranda performed the Post Malone song “I Fall Apart”.
Kate Barnette took on Maroon 5 with her performance of “Sunday Morning”.
Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon took to the piano for his performance of “Make You Feel My Love”.
Laci Kaye Booth performed the classic rock song “I Want You to Want Me” by Cheap Trick.
In the final performance of the night, Wade Cota sang “All I Want” and brought the judges to their feet.
Next week the top 20 will perform all star duets before six singers are eliminated from the competition.
