It’s fan’s choice night on “The Voice” where the fans have chooses which songs the top eleven will perform.
Team Blake’s Dave Fenley kicks off the night of music with a performance of Bill Withers’ “Use Me” that included some beat boxing. Saying whoa, Adam said that he was in shock; saying that it was wild, Adam noted that he is happy that Dave is doing whatever he wants. Coach Blake said that Dave just had THAT moment.
Team Kelly’s 16 year old Chevel Shepherd sang the Kacey Musgraves song “Space Cowboy”. An excited coach Kelly said that Chevel nailed it…even the high note. Kelly noted that Chevel is a great storyteller.
Adam’s 14 year old singer Reagan Strange sant the Avril Lavigne hit “Complicated” and had the coaches on their chairs with Adam standing on his chair. Blake said that he is such a fan of Reagan’s; adding that she has a ton of charisma and sings perfectly. Blake called Reagan awesome. Saying that he adores her, Adam noted that she continues to impress him every week. Adam said that Reagan has unbelievable talent and could become a tremendous star.
Team Kelly’s gospel singer Kymberli Joye sang the gospel song “Break Every Chain” and brought the judges to their feet while the crowd cheered. Host Carson Day said that Kymberli had a real moment there. Jennifer said that Kymberli opened up the doors of the church tonight. Kelly said that Kymberi blows people away; adding that Kymberli reminded her of Jennifer.
Blake’s Alabama country boy Kirk Jay took on Sam Hunt with “Body Like a Back Road”. After beginning the song at the keyboard, Kirk showed off a few of his dance moves and interacted with the audience as he sang. Calling Kirk incredible, Blake said that Kirk is a mix of George Strait and Rascal Flatts; adding that he is one of a kind.
Team Blake’s Chris Kroeze took on the Doobie Brothers with a performance of “Long Train Runnin’” including the guitar solo that brought the judges to their feet. Coach Blake called the performance incredible; adding that Chris gets better with every performance.
Team Kelly’s Comeback Stage artist Lynnea Moorer sang the Camila Cabello song “Consequences”. Saying that Lynnea surprises her every time, Jennifer said that she looks and sounds like a star. Saying that she is so proud that Lynnea had this moment, Kelly noted that Lynnea is making the most of each moment.
Team Jennifer’s Makenzie Thomas sang the Bee Gees his “Emotion”. Calling Makenzie so skilled, Jennifer said that Makenzie was amazing and flawless.
Team Kelly’s Sarah Grace took on Florence + the Machine’s “Dog Days are Over”. Saying that he has been a fan from the beginning, Blake called it his favourite performance. Kelly said that Sarah Grace had her best moment; adding that she is such a small singer.
Team Adam’s DeAndre Nico sang “Cry for You”. Jenifer said that the performance took her back “to the neighbourhood”. Adam said that DeAndre did a song everyone wanted to hear but didn’t know; adding that he has all of the elements with a unique tone to his voice and it demands attention.
Closing out the night was team Jennifer’s 13 year old singer Kennedy Holmes with “Greatest Love of All” which was originally recorded by George Benson. Jennifer called Kennedy a shining star.
After the east coast airing, seven of the artists have their songs on one of the iTunes genre charts with one singer in the number one spot.
After the airing on both coasts, one singer was in the overall top 10 iTunes chart and seven artists on the various genre iTunes charts with one of those at the number one spot.
