Fans who braved the snow and ice on a Saturday night in April to see the popular western New York band DoDriver got an extra treat at the Niagara Falls Hard Rock Cafe when fellow western New York rockers Tokyo Monsters opened the April 14 show.


Performing a set of all original songs Tokyo Monsters gave a Monster of a performance that chased away the the cold.Car, Steve, Nathan, and Joe got the night off to a rocking start with “Seance”, “Battle”, “Tightrope”, “Dangerous”, “Daredevil”, “Oldest Ghost”, “Headspace”, “Tears”, “Side Effects”, “Origin”, “Criminal”, and “Witchhunt”.


Then it was time for some hard drivin’ rock with DoDriver also performed all original songs including debuting a few new songs from their upcoming album “Hi-Test” which is set for a May 26 release.


After getting the crowd rocking with “White Flag”, DoDriver performed Half a Million Miles”, “Life Changes Everything”,”Another Day”, “It Feels Good to Be Home”, “Your Favorite Song”, “How We Roll”, “Alright Tonight”, “Curve of the Earth”, “Watch Me”, “I Got This”, “4-32”, “Read it Wrong”, and “Dozier”.


The weather outside was frightful but the music inside was very delightful as Tokyo Monsters and DoDriver rocked the house with some of the best rock and roll in western New York.
