As the 23rd Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang, South Korea begin to wind down China wins their first ever gold medal in short track speed skating and Hungary adds their name to the medal count with a gold medal in short track speed skating.

Another first on this 13th day of competition is that Russian ice skater Alina Zagitova won the gold medal in women’s ice skating to give the Olympic Athletes from Russia their first gold medal.

Germany has once again tied Norway for the lead in gold medals, but Norway continues to lead the total medal count with Canada taking over the second spot.
