It’s another All Star season on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” when queens from past seasons return for the third All Star season.
Trixie Matel, Milk, Chi Chi Devane, Thorgy Thor, Morgan McMichaels, Aja, BenDeLaCreme, Kennedy Davenport, and Shangela – back for the third time.
RuPaul tells the queens that it is time for them to make a killer comeback and earn their spot in the Drag Hall of Fame…but first there’s one more queen to join the cast…
…Bebe Zahara Benet – the very first Drag Race winner.
All Star rules are in full effect with the top two queens lip syncing for their legacy and the queens will choose who goes home. The winning queen decides which of the two bottom queens goes home.
The first challenge of the season is a get acquainted event – The Library is open, let the reading begin!
The winner is BenDeLaCreme.
The big challenge for this week is an All Star Variety Show before a live audience.
Joining RuPaul at the judge’s table this week are Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley Ross Matthews, and special guest judge Vanessa Hudgens.
Shangela danced and sang for her talent performance.
Bebe Zahara Benet who also danced and sang for her performance. A true African, Bebe performed some African dance.
Thorgy Thor played the violin for her performance.
Aja danced for her talent that included a little gymnastics.
Kennedy Davenport also chose to give a dance performance.
BenDeLaCreme gave a comedic dance performance that included some impressive tassel twirling.
Chi Chi Devane did a dancing baton twirling routine.
Morgan McMichaels chose to perform a song and dance routine.
Trixie Mattel played an autoharp and sang.
And coming up last was Milk with “rap” about fashion with stick on fashions.
Trixie, Bebe, Milk, and Kennedy were all safe for this week.
In the first critiques of the season…
Carson said that Shangela’s performance was a great way to start the show.
Thorgy had an amazing look and the judges like seeing Drag and Classical music
The judges liked Aja’s reveals; adding that she looked like a model and did some very good drag. Michelle said that it was what she had been waiting for all of season nine.
The judges said that BenDeLaCreme was beautiful and had a stunning look.
Chi Chi had a beautiful look but the judges did not like her wearing the flat shoes and felt her hair kept getting in the way.
While Morgan McMichaels look amazing, the judges felt that her nerves got the best of her.
RuPaul announced that Aja and BeDeLaCreme were the top two looks for the week and would face off in a lip sync for their legacy to determine the winner. They both won a trip to Ft. Lauderdale.
Shangela and Throgy Thor were safe but Chi Chi and Morgan were in the bottom and are facing elimination.
Aja and BenDeLaCreme lip synced to “Anaconda” with BenDeLaCreme taking the win with her comedic lip sync performance. She wins a $10,000 for her winning performance.
BenDeLaCreme chose to send Morgan McMichaels home.
