As the end of a musical era continues southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd has announced that they are making one final tour before retiring from the road.
In their nearly 50 years of making music Skynyrd has seen more than their share of ups and downs including losing band members to crashes and sharing the music with millions of fans.
Skynyrd does not have one set opening act but Kid Rock, Hank williams Jr, the Charlie Daniels Band, Bad Company, the Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Blackberry Smoke and Blackfoot will be taking turns sharing the stage.
the final tour begins in May in the band’s home state of Florida. Tickets go on sale February 2.
