Broadway added another new show last week with the first preview of “Much Ado About Nothing”; bringing the total number of shows to 33.
And while there were only a third of the shows to make the Million Dollar Club and just 15 in the 90% Club, Broadway was busy last week bringing in nearly $30 million; with two shows topping the $2 Million Dollar mark! “Other Desert Cities” topped the list with $2.35 million at the box office with “Hamilton” right behind them with $2.32 million.
With a single preview showing and over $350,000 at the box office, “Much Ado About Nothing” is sure to be a regular in the Million Dollar Club as it kicks in to full swing.
Billy Crystal’s one-man show “860” brought in $1.35 million and didn’t even make the top five in the Million Dollar Club!
