It has been over 10 years since the death of George Michael; but his music lives on with fans still eagerly awaiting any new music from the British pop artist.

After the breakup of Wham, George Michael launched a very successful solo career that began with the “Faith” album – an album that went on to be certified Diamond in the United States for selling at lead 10 million copies (this was in the days before streaming).

On November 6, George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment are releasing an 18 track album from that “Faith Tour”.  While all of the songs will be familiar to Michael fans; the renditions on the “Faith Tour Live” are previously unreleased versions.

The album was recorded at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy performance in 1988 during the 109 city tour.  Michael was just 24 years old at the time.

The “Faith” album was written, arranged, produced, and performed almost exclusively by George Michael as he brought his own unique musical style to the stage.

Producing four number one singles, George Michael is the only male British solo artist ever to achieve the feat.

A film edition of “George Michael: The Faith Tour” will be released to movie theaters on December 11.  The film will feature previously unheard footage.

The film opens with an original short film by Mary McCartney with newly discovered footage prior to the tour.
