Country and Gospel music legends The Oak Ridge Boys have unearthed some “Buried Treasures” and they will share them with the world on October 30 – a collection of songs they call “deeply personal”.
The title song “Buried Treasures” is the only new song and was written by Aaron Raitiere especially for the album.
Fellow Country musician Anderson East produced and engineered the album with Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb as the executive producer.
Speaking on the album the Oak Ridge Boys’ Duane Allen said, “every song on the album is about something that’s dear to us. These songs are all buried treasures – great songs we’ve loved and sung for years, and this is the first time we’ve brought them all together on one record.”
William Lee Golden added, “it was a lot of fun, reaching back to some of these classic songs. I feel like this album touched on our love of life, love of family, love of our mates that we’ve chosen in life, and also the love of God.”
Songwriter Aaron Raitiere noted, “the Oak Ridge Boys are country music legends. I’m honored they’ve recorded my songs.”
Available on CD, deluxe gold vinyl, and as a digital download; “Buried Treasures” is available for pre-order.
