Not surprisingly the box office draw on Broadway last week was down with only 26 shows running. But in its final weeks of performances Moulin Rouge the musical brought in over $2 million at the box office to make up for some of the losses.
Just six shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with Moulin Rouge the only show bringing in over $2 million.
Fans have until the end of the month on August 30 to see Moulin Rouge before the musical makes its final bow.
But, have no fear, there are plenty of new shows on the horizon including “Paranormal Activity” which brought in over $700,000 with just five preview performances.
The Million Dollar Club:
“Moulin Rouge! The Musical”
“Hamilton”
“The Lion King”
“MJ The Musical”
“The Lost Boys”
“Wicked”
There were just eleven snows in the 90% Club last week with the top three filling the house 100% audience capacity.
