Released in 1986, the film “Pretty in Pink” helped to shape an era thanks to its powerful soundtrack.
On August 28 Ume is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film and soundtrack with a limited edition pink vinyl album.
Artists on the album include the Psychedelic furs, The Smiths, Echo & The Bunnymen, and INXS.
The limited edition release is a single pink glitter filled vinyl LP in a gatefold sleeve of film photography. The album features two bonus tracks – “Try a Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding and “Rudy” by Talk Back.
A black single vinyl with the original soundtrack is also being offered.
