Daily writing prompt
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

That’s a tough one…

With the current political climate in the United States, it is the one place I do NOT want to live.

I was born in the U.S. but wish that I could leave.

Where would I go????

The truth??? I don’t really know.

There are so many places I want to see.

At one time I had planned to return to Russia – St. Petersburgh, but those plans fell through or more accurately changed.

With my Nordic roots and love of the sea; perhaps getting a boat – one sturdy enough to sail the seas and just travel from place to place. I could “see the world”. Visit the lands of my ancestors.

A photographer who loves filming land and seascapes, I could find many places of beauty to photograph. I would need a very large supply of SD cards and hard drives to archive and keep the photos I take. And boy, can I take a lot of photos!

I also enjoy learning about different peoples and cultures; what better way than by having a means of travel not dependent of a specific schedule where I could come and go when I was ready to do so.

Just think of all the local music I could hear.

Many, many years ago, I vaguely remember a movie about a “Man Without a Country”, whose punishment for a crime was to no longer be a citizen anywhere and spent his days on a ship.

Not the worst thing in the world!
