Just 32 shows running and a holiday weekend brought a significant drop at the Broadway box office last week. With the Independence Day holiday, many of the shows had fewer performances.
Last week was also the final week of Maya Rudolph playing the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in “Oh, Mary!” to the highest priced tickets on Broadway.
Meg Stalter of “Hacks” will take over the role beginning this week.
Just eleven of the 32 shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with “Hamilton” the only show to top $2 million. “The Lion King” and “Death of a Salesman” came close.
The numbers are down overall from the pat two seasons, but there are plenty of new shows on the horizon as the summer season is about to begin and the fall season waiting in the wings.

The 90% club fared a little better with 14 of the 32 shows making it into the club and the top three filling the house with at least 100% capacity.
