Since the original breakup of Pink Floyd in 1985, cover/tribute bands have cropped up all over the world beginning in 1988 with The Machine.  The Australian Pink Floyd and Brit Floyd are also among the top in the world.

Currently Brit Floyd is on a massive North American tour and will have a special guest performer for some of the dates – singer Machan “Margaret” Taylor!

Taylor was a part of the original Pink Floyd.

Sax man Scott Page, who also performed with Pink Floyd; as well as Toto and Supertramp, will be joining the tour on July 10 at the Greek Theatre and July 11 at the Open Air in San Diego.

It has been nearly 40 years since Taylor appeared on “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” and “Delicate Sound of Thunder” tours.

CEO of Palladium Entertainment and producer of Brit Floyd’s world tours Andy Robbins spoke on Taylor saying, “we are incredibly honored to welcome Machan Taylor back to the Brit Floyd tour this summer.  Her voice helped define some of Pink Floyd’s greatest live moments and having her share the stage with us is a real privilege. We know fans will be thrilled to experience the magic she brings to these songs.”
