The annual BET Awards were held on June 28 in Los Angles and included a star studded night of music, tributes, and awards.
Durski made history when he hosted the show and beat out Kevin Hart as the youngest host of the gala event.
Teyana Taylor took home the award for Icon of the Year but the biggest surprise was her presenter – Janet Jackson!
Music executive Sylvia Rhone was the recipient of the Ultimate Icon Award.
After a 20 minute tribute to her career Lauryn Hill received the first ever Living Legend Award and surprised the audience with a performance to close out the night of celebration.
DeAngelo and Clive Davis were remembered with musical tributes.
