The annual circus known as the NASCAR Silly Season has a musical chairs of its own; but as more drivers enter the ever expanding field, some owners are looking to hedge their bets for a victory by placing drivers who excel at specific types of tracks.

This weekend, NASCAR travels to Nashville Superspeedway, a 1.3 mile track with all three races under the lights.

Jesse Love will be driving the number 77 Spire Motorsports truck this week.  It will be Love’s first time in a truck at Nashville.

Stefan Parsons will return to the Craftsman Truck Series to drive the number four truck for his first NASCAR race this season.

The “guest du jour” in the Kaulig Racing number 25 Ram truck this week is Carson Fergusson in a return to the Ram trucks.  Fergusson nearly beat out Mini Tyrrell in the series searching for a driver “Race for the Seat”.

Carl Long has selected Jonathan Shafer to drive his number 69 truck this week after taking off from the race at Charlotte.  Dystany Spurlock drove the truck at Dover but had an early exit to the race.
