NASCAR issued just one penalty after the races at Dover Motor Speedway last weekend.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series number 07 SS GreenLight Racing car driven by Josh Bilicki was found to have two lug nuts improperly secured during post race inspection at Dover Motor Speedway. As a result, crew chief Cory Selig has been fined $5,000 and a one race suspension; plus the crew will lose their pit stall selection for the upcoming race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
In recent years NASCAR has tighten the rules and is emphasizing safety when it comes to lug nuts and loose wheels.
