It has been a long hard road for hard rockers Iron Maiden’s journey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; but as the saying goes, the third time’s the charm.
But long before the news of their nomination and impending induction, the rockers had planned a tour.
As a result, while the remaining inductees are being saluted and honoured, Iron Maiden will be “Down Under” for the Australian portion of their tour.
This year’s induction will be on November 14 in Los Angeles.
The band made things clear when they accepted the induction; saying that their fans will always come first…so, the shows will go on!
Iron Maiden says, “we would like to assure all our fans in Australasia that the Australian and New Zealand dates will remain unaffected, and we look forward to bringing the Run For Your Lives Tour to them on the penultimate stop of our 50th anniversary celebrations.”
