The horror that is the FIFA World Cup ticket sales continues..
As the rollout continues of ticket sales for the final World Cup rounds, tickets were flying high at over $2,500 each.
The most recent rollout includes ticket prices of $4,105 for a category one seat at the opener for Team USA against Paraguay at SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California on June 12.
Category two tickets are going for $1,940 to $2,330 for the Team USA vs Paraguay game.
For the June 12 game in Toronto between Bosnia and Herzegovina, FIFA has listed the category one tickets at $3,360.
Last week FIFA announced that the category one tickets for the Wild Cup Finale at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford are $10,990 with category two tickets are $7,380 with category three tickets going for $5,575.
With ticket prices in the thousands, the $905 seats in Philadelphia for the round of 16 games could almost be called “the cheap seats”.
The World Cup is scheduled for June 11 to July 19 in 16 cities across North America – Mexico, U.S., and Canada.
