This year, The Beach Boys are celebrating 60 years of their album “Pet Sounds”.
The mark the celebration, the band has planned some special releases on May 15.
Interscope-Capitol’s Definitive Sound Series (DSS) is releasing a limited-edition of just 6,000 numbered copies in the original monophonic mix.
An analog 2LP Vinylphyle that will include the original mono and stereo editions.
“The Pet Sounds Sessions Highlights” is being offered in 2LP green splatter vinyl, 2LP black vinyl, and 2CD packages.
The Sessions release includes 25 alternate takes, A Cappella’s, and tracking sessions.
