You have always been fascinated by series and books that included immortals who travelled through the ages living history.

Now at 100, you have become a bit of a historical figure yourself; living through parts of two different centuries.

You watched that little black and white box in the corner with just three channels become a major phenomenon with hundreds of channels to choose from – and still nothing on – on a screen the size of the side of the house!

What was once science fiction has now become science fact… Bradbury, Asimov, and Clark really weren’t that far off the mark.

When you were born, the party line on the phone was a thing; now, everyone has one in their hands, chattering loud enough to be heard a block away – the new party line.

Regimes around the world have come and gone, but one thing has never changed – always looking for a way to cheat someone to get ahead. Governments have honed this skill to a fine point.

You used to read about things in history; now you are a part of it. The technology has changed and many things are far more convenient; but is it truly any better???
