It was a historic weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series after Tyler Reddick became the first driver in the 75+ history of NASCAR to win all three of the races to start the season.

Shane van Gisbergen ended up finishing second and was chasing some history of his own, the first driver since Jeff Gordon to win six road courses races in a row.  Van Gisbergen noted that Reddick was fast and he couldn’t catch the driver of the 23XI Racing 45 car.

Tyler Reddick has a 70 point lead over the second place driver in the standings – his teammate Bubba Wallace.  Reddick is 100 points ahead of the eighth place driver!

Next up is the one mile track at Phoenix Raceway and the big question of whether Reddick can keep up the streak?
