The snowstorm that hit New York City over the weekend shut the city down with some two feet of snow…including Broadway. While the Sunday matinee shows went on, the Sunday night performances were cancelled; as were the Monday performances.
The musicals “SIX: The Musical” and “Chicago” have announced some additional matinee performances to compensate for the shutdown of Broadway and cancellation of the shows.
“Chicago” has announced a 2pm performance on March 5 at the Ambassador Theatre.
The musical encourages fans who have purchased tickets for the February 23 cancelled show should contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds or ticket exchanges.
The musical “SIX”, a show about the six wives of Henry VIII, has announced a matinee on March 4 at 2pm at the Leno Horne Theatre.
