The past year has seen a great many changes in Washington D.C. and the current administration.

While numerous hiring, firing, and personnel changes are always expected with any new administration; what was less expected were the hostile takeovers and gutting of American history.

The Kennedy Center was originally established by Congress as a tribute to assassinated President John F. Kennedy.  Part of the creating the Kennedy Center – an iconic Performing Arts Center – was for an equal bi-partisan board of trustees.

The Kennedy Center is now being run by the White House administration with a loyalist board who have unlawfully added a name to the building and has now been reported to be closing for “renovations”.

The beautiful Rose Garden that was installed by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy has been destroyed and replaced with a huge patio with umbrella tables.

A proposed ballroom was NOT supposed to affect any part of the White House.  The East Wing of the White House has been demolished!  The White House, like much of the buildings in Washington, is governed by a board whom are designed to preserve the historic sites and traditions of America.  Any changes to the White House inside and out must first be approved by those committees.  The current administration has failed to even file a proposal.

And now the latest addition to Washington D.C. and the White House is a statue of a man who is celebrated as an explorer, but contrary to many reports never stepped on foot on North American soil – Christopher Columbus.  Some of the islands in the Caribbean are as close as he got to what became known as the New World.

A fan of Columbus, the administration plans on placing the statue on the White House grounds – reportedly on the south side of the White House near the Ellipse.

Formerly the statue stood in Baltimore where it was toppled by protesters and thrown into the harbour as a part of a nationwide racial injustice demonstrations.

The statue has since been restored and will soon find a new home at the White House.

Spokesman Davis Ingle spoke on the statue saying, “in this White House, Christopher Columbus is a hero. And he will continue to be honored as such by President Trump.”

While best known for his voyages to the “New World”, Christopher Columbus is lesser known as a rouge and was far less than kind in his treatment of the Native peoples he found on the islands where he landed.

In recent years, many states and communities have chosen to ignore Christopher Columbus and celebrate Indigenous People’s Day instead.

While campaigning for a return to the White House, Columbus was prominent in the campaign to celebrate Columbus.  Last October an executive order was signed to “recognize Columbus as the original American hero.”

In a Truth Social post the administration posted, “I’m bringing Columbus Day back from the ashes. The Democrats did everything possible to destroy Christopher Columbus, his reputation, and all of the Italians that love him so much. They tore down his Statues, and put up nothing but ‘WOKE,’ or even worse, nothing at all! Well, you’ll be happy to know, Christopher is going to make a major comeback.”

Towering flag poles have been installed on the lawn, the Oval Office now resembles one of the Tsar’s castles, and historic museum exhibits have been “sanitized” to resemble the history the White House wants…not what really happened.

A “victory arch” is also being planned to honour, who else, but the current administration.

And the White House has taken over all of the golf courses in the Washington D.C. area.

A 22-foot bronze statue is being planned for display in Miami – not far from Mar-a-Lago.
