For nearly two years the Tony Award winning musical “Hell’s Kitchen” has been a part of the Broadway lineup; but that will be coming to a close next month.

The autobiographical musical written by Alicia Keys has announced that their final performance will be February 22.  When the musical drops the curtain for the final time, it will have given nearly 800 performances.

While the show has consistently been a part of the Million Dollar Club since it’s debut, the numbers are slowly going down and have now reached the point where the box office receipts are not meeting weekly financial obligations.

On January 27 original cast member Brandon Victor Dixon will return to his original role as estranged father Davis for the final month of the show’s run.

While “Hell’s Kitchen” will soon no longer be a part of the Broadway lineup, the show is continuing as a traveling musical both nationally and internationally.
