The International Tennis Integrity Agency has handed down two major suspensions over match fixing and recruiting.

Chinese player Pang Renlong has been suspended 12 years after admitting to fixing matches – including some of his own – during the 2024 season.  He was also fined $110,000 but $70,000 of the fine has been suspended.

Pang will again be eligible to compete in “playing in, coaching at or attending any event organized by major tennis bodies or national federations” in 2036.

Along with the match fixing, Pang was charged with making “corrupt approaches” toward players between May and September of 2024.

Pang had an international ranking of 1,316 in 2024.

French player Quentin Folliot has been suspended for 20 years for “match-fixing and recruiting on behalf of a match-fixing syndicate”.  Five other players have also been suspended for working on behalf of the syndicate.
