While overall Broadway is exhibiting some near record setting box office numbers; there have been a few productions who have announced shorter runs than originally scheduled.

The Broadway play “Little Bear Ridge Road” has announced that it will be closing two months sooner than originally planned.

Scheduled to run through February 15, the show will be closing on December 21 after opening previews on October 7 with an official opening on October 30.

The Samuel D. Hunter production “Little Bear Ridge Road” made its world premiere debut at the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago in 2024 before moving to Broadway this fall.

The story is about the rural Idaho Fernsby family and the reunion of estranged family members after the death of the family patriarch.

The production did not give a specific reason for the show’s early closing.
