After its original set of dates sold out even before the first performance took the stage the immersive musical “Masquerade” extended the run into next year.

Now for the second time, the Opera Ghost has extended his haunting stay at the former Lee’s Art Shop at 218 W. 57th St.

Tickets for the new dates through March 29 will go on sale December 9.

Adapted from the original “Phantom of the Opera” by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, “Masquerade” opened September 29.  With an immersive format that moves through the entire theatre, there are six shows each night.  Each performance has its own complete cast.

“Phantom of the Opera” was taken from the book by Gaston Leroux.

The Host has issued some instructions for his visitors attending “Masquerade” – wear your finest attire in black, white, and/or silver; and women please wear comfortable walking shoes – no heels.  And wear a mask; but if you do not have one, a mask can be provided for you.

For those who need assistance, the theatre is ADA accessible.  Guests who need assistance can send an email to access@masqueradenyc.com to request any needed help.
