At the end of last week, the Critics Choice Awards nominees were released.
On Monday morning, the Golden Globe Awards released the nominees for their annual awards with “One Battle After Another” leading the way.
So far two of the numerous organizations who present awards during Hollywood Awards season have given the action film that stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio del Toro.
“One Battle After Another” earned nine nominations for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. “Sentimental Value”, “Sinners”, “Frankenstein”, “Wicked: For Good”, “Hamnet”, and “KPop Demon Hunters” also garnered multiple nominations.
The movie studio Neon topped the list of all nominations with 21 for the independent studio.
New this year for the Golden Globes is a new award for the Best Podcast.
After some scandal, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association sold the Golden Globes in 202 to Todd Boehly’s Eldridge Industries and Dick Clark Productions.
Nikki Glaser will return to serve as host for the gala even on January 11.
Actress Helen Mirren has been announced as the winner of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Sarah Jessica Parker will receive the Carol Burnett Award.
