When “Masquerade” held their Lotto 666 on November 16, over 400 people showed up to participate.
With such a successful event, the Off Broadway immersive event has decided to hold a second Lotto 666 event where fans are offered the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the “Phantom of the Opera” musical “Masquerade” for just $66 on November 30.
The lottery is an in-person event that takes place prior to the first performance of the night at 5pm. An immersive event, “Masquerade” has six timed performances each night.
“Masquerade” producer Randy Weiner issued a statement saying, “we were overwhelmed in the best possible way—we truly did not anticipate this level of enthusiasm. The fans embraced our invitation beyond anything we imagined, and we want to honor that. Next time Lotto 666 opens, Phans can expect even more surprises courtesy of the Phantom—lucky ticket or not.”
“Lotto 666” refers to the auction in the original “Phantom of the Opera” and the lot number of the famous chandelier.
Attendees of “Masquerade” are requested to wear their finest attire in black, white, and/or silver; with some comfortable shoes – no heels – since you will be walking as a part of the show.
The ”Black Tie Standby Line” continues – an opportunity for fans to acquire discount tickets for $170. Availability depends on the number of returned or cancelled tickets for the night.
Currently “Masquerade” is scheduled to run through February 1.
