New York saw the first snows of the season this week which put a cap on the beginning of the fall/winter season for Broadway.  After the numbers were down at the box office, last week brought a big jump of 20% with all 34 shows running seeing an increase at the box office.

Topping the list last week was “Hamilton” who fell just short of the $4 million mark.

“Wicked” and “Chess” joined the $2 million club last week with “Chess” only in its fourth week of performances.  “The Lion King” and “Waiting for Godot” rounded out the top five.

A total of 20 shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with the top three topping the $2 million mark.

In the 90% Club seven of the 23 shows had at least 100% audience capacity last week.  “Just in Time” topped the list again with a standing room only 103.3%.
