The revival of the musical “Ragtime” is currently playing at Lincoln Center with a limited run set to end January 4, 2026.

But the show has earned an extension…and not for just a few short weeks; but  for over five months on June 14.

While this is great news for “Ragtime”, it is not so good news for the upcoming vampire musical “The Lost Boys”.  Caissie Levy plays the role of Mother in “Ragtime” and will continue the role through the extension; which means she has had to drop out as Lucy Emerson in the Broadway adaptation of “The Lost Boys”.

Previews for “The Lost Boys” begin March 27.

Joshua Henry as Coalhouse Walker Jr, Brandon Uranowitz as Tateh, Colin Donnell as Father, Nichelle Lewis as Sarah, Ben Levi Ross as Mother’s Younger Brother, Shaina Taub as Emma Goldman, Ann Grace Barlow as Evelyn Nesbit, John Clay III as Booker T. Washington, Rodd Cyrus as Harry Houdini, Nick Barrington as The Little Boy, and understudy Ellie May Sennett have all signed on to remain with the show until the end of the run.

Tickets for the new dates are on sale now.

“Ragtime” opened October 16.
