The saying goes that things (good and bad) happen in threes…

Last year the surviving members of the Beatles – Sirs Paul and Ringo – came together to create one final single – “Now and Then” – using old studio tapes that featured John Lennon’s voice and George Harrison’s guitar.

Earlier this year, Liam and Noah Gallagher put aside their differences to reunite and tour packing venues wherever they play.

Now, Radiohead – Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien,  Colin Greenwood, and Phil Selway – is reuniting after a seven year absence and will be touring in Europe later this year!

While it is still too early to hazard a guess at the set list for the tour; fans can catch the groove of a Radiohead live show in the upcoming new release – “Hail to the Thief – Live Recording 2003-2009” which is set for an October 31 release.

Phil Selway spoke on the reunion in a statement saying, “last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.  It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”

In an effort to thwart bots and scalpers, Radiohead has devised a plan for tickets sales.

Fans must register at radiohead.com beginning September 5 with registration open for 60 hours. Ticket sales are limited to four per person and may only be purchased for one date.  Preference will be given to those fans located the closest proximity  to the venues; followed by fans in Europe, and then fans outside of Europe.  Radiohead said, “our aim is to distribute tickets according to demand in a fair and geographically convenient way.”
