According to my mother I have always been a night owl…even as a baby.
Like Snoopy, “I think I’m Allergic to mornings”.
When in college I hated early morning classes and did everything possible NOT to have one. One semester I even managed to have all afternoon classes. It seems that my brain isn’t awake that early. I once heard a couple of musicians talking and one said to the other, “call me first thing in the morning…around noon!”. That’s my brain, don’t ask me to think early in the morning.
On the other hand, late at night is another story. I was a language major in college and had translation classes. I frequently waited until eleven o’clock or even midnight before I started working on the translations because it seemed that my brain was fully functional and raring to go.
Living in apartments most of my adult life…and usually downstairs…late at night is generally less hectic and more peaceful. The neighbours have all settled down and gone to bed. There are no loud stereos, stomping feet, and other loud distracting noises.
I have learned over the years to tune some of it out or mask it with sounds of my own…like tunes. But peaceful undistracted time is always a good thing.
Music is good, music is always good to help the brain cells flow…new age is always good to spark the creativity. 🙂

Very cool! 😎
