RCA Records and Legacy Recordings have paired up for boxed set of five CDs including 89 rarities by Elvis Presley. Titled “Sunset Boulevard”, the music is taken from the time Elvis recorded at RCA’s Los Angeles studio. Over half of the music in the set has never been released in the United States.
A standalone two vinyl “highlights” package is also available and features the same music as the first two CD’s in the boxed set and comes in standard black vinyl and a Graceland Exclusive Color Variant. Grammy Award winner Matt Ross-Spang has stripped down the music for some new…and never before heard mixes.
The remaining three discs offer a “behind the scenes” look at Elvis and rehearsals for his Las Vegas residency.
The package is also available as a digital download.
The boxed set includes some rare photographs, new liner notes, and an introduction by friend Jerry Schilling.
