With the 2024/25 Broadway season over, with more shows closing as theatres make room for the new season.  “The Picture of Dorian Gray” closed last week…and on a high note with standing room only crowds; as well as, “Dead Outlaw”, “Real Women Have Curves”, “Glengarry Glen Ross”, and Stephen Sondheim’s “Old Friends”.

Sixteen of the 35 shows running made it into the $1 Milliam Dollar Club last week with the top four reaching over $2 Million.

As more shows close, the box office numbers will drop; five more shows are set to close this week.

But beginning next month new shows will begin filling houses all across Broadway…including a long rumoured revival by a certain musical spirit of Gaston Leroux and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber fame.

In the 90 percent club 23 of the 35 shows made the list with the first eight of them having at least 100 percent audience capacity.
