The five-race In Series Challenge began Saturday night at Echo Park Speedway.  An early 23 car crash that took 10 drivers out of the race including the number one seed driver Denny Hamlin to cause a major shakeup in the 32 driver bracket.

The In Series Challenge is independent of the point standings and the playoffs.  After a three race seeding process, the top 32 drivers face off head to head in a bracket challenge that will earn the winner a $1 million prize.

After the race at Echo Park, half of the field has been eliminated; leaving just 16 drivers in eight matchups for the street race in Chicago.
