In 2023, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical “Phantom of the Opera” closed after 35 years on Broadway. The musical was playing at the Majestic Theatre which was set for a major renovation.
But the Opera Ghost (OG) is not happy and he is looking for a new home.
Rumours are abound on Broadway that Lord Webber’s Phantom revival may have found a home on 57th Street.
The OG has circulated a new message to members of the press saying, “it is here that I shall present a grand Masquerade, a spectacle that will astound you and that further explores my legend. I have instructed my minion Lloyd Webber to assist.”

The letter goes on to say that ticket information will be released June 30…but only to those who have signed his Ledger. Phantom fans can sign the OG’s Ledger at Masqueradenyc.com
The Opera Ghost first made his presence known with a note the show’s creator Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.
